Part 2 architectural assistant

Jo Cowen Architects is looking for an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
The ideal candidate will have one or more years’ experience and if chosen, will be joining our award-winning, multi-home and mixed-use, project teams. We specialise in design quality, efficient and viable design, working with multi-disciplinary teams in a highly organised BIM environment.
Covering many of the living sectors, successful candidates can expect to work across exciting new built-to-rent, for sale, co-living and adaptive re-use projects.
The successful candidate would need to be able to present ideas, think rationally and engage with clients and contractors. Collaboration is key to our success and so the ability to work productively as part of a team and independently is essential.
Candidates should be highly motivated, with excellent communication and organisational skills in addition to excellent design focus, an eye for detail and a desire to develop their role within the practice.
The right candidate will have the following combination of skills and experience:
- ability to work as part of a forward-thinking design team
- good presentation skills
- experience working on multi-unit residential projects is useful but not essential
- understanding of the relevant building standards
- knowledge and use of Revit is essential (training and support will be provided)
- good knowledge of graphics software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is essential
