Part 2 architectural assistant
at Cooke Fawcett Architects
Cooke Fawcett Architects is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its London studio.
Established in 2015, Cooke Fawcett is based in Farringdon with projects predominantly located in London and the UK. We are currently working on a varied range of projects for arts/charity/public sector clients alongside private sector commercial and residential projects. Our projects frequently involve heritage assets.
Following a series of recent commissions, we are looking for a motivated architectural assistant to join our growing team. You will work on a range of residential, cultural and commercial projects at various RIBA stages. You will need to be able to work collaboratively, supporting project architects with design development, 3D modelling, visualisation and drafting.
As part of our team, you would be fully included in design conversations and we hope you will play an active role in the wider development of the practice.
Please check your experience fits the criteria prior to applying:
- ARB Part 2 or equivalent
- exceptional design and representation skills
- knowledge of CAD software to include proficiency in 2D AutoCAD, 3D Rhino, Enscape
- Revit experience desirable
- proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- enthusiasm, creativity, motivation and an ability to take initiative
- experience working in architectural teams
- legal right to work in the UK
- fluency in both written and spoken English

- following closing date for applications, shortlisted candidates will be invited for a first-round interview (online) with two of our project architects
- candidates who meet the required selection criteria will then be invited for a second interview with the practice directors, either in person or online

Salary will depend on experience. It is anticipated to be a full-time role, 40 hours per week. We encourage a positive and collaborative office culture and most of our team work full time in the office – we have flexibility that enables working from home when needed.
