Cooke Fawcett Architects is looking for an experienced project architect to join its London studio.
Established in 2015, Cooke Fawcett is based in Farringdon with projects predominantly located in London and the UK. We are currently working on a varied range of projects for arts/charity/public sector clients alongside private sector commercial and residential projects. Our projects frequently involve heritage assets.
We are looking for a motivated architect with at least two years’ post-Part 3 experience, including during construction phases to join our team. You will take a project architect role on a range of residential, cultural and commercial projects. You will work collaboratively, liaise with clients and take responsibility for running projects from concept through to completion.
As part of our team, you would be fully included in design conversations and we hope you will play an active role in the wider growth and development of the practice.
Please check your experience fits the criteria prior to applying:
- at least two years’ experience following Part 3, including RIBA stages 3 to 6
- strong design and representation skills
- knowledge of CAD software to include proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Rhino
- knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- experience with detailed design, assembling tender packs and with construction contract administration
- experience in client facing roles
- enthusiasm, creativity, motivation and an ability to take initiative
- legal right to work in the UK
- fluency in both written and spoken English
- availability from January 2025 or earlier

It is anticipated to be a full-time role, 40h per week. Post-covid we are working back in our office and encourage a positive office culture, we have flexibility that enables working from home when needed.
