GA&A Design is seeking an associate architect to join its team in Slough, UK.
This is a unique opportunity for an associate level architect to work on higher risk buildings and to contribute to significant projects, from conception through to completion, ensuring the highest safety and quality standards.

A unique opportunity has now arisen for an associate architect/associate level architect to take a lead role on specific projects, engaging in all RIBA plan of work stages from 0 to 7 and taking on the responsibilities of the CDM and building control principal designer (BC PD).
Working on higher risk buildings you will be an active member of the team, taking responsibility for running fast paced, live projects and contributing to the development of the practice. You will be joining a practice committed to supporting your development and helping you thrive.
Key requirements
You should be an organised and motivated architect with a CV that demonstrates:
- experience with higher-risk buildings and relevant construction legislation
- knowledge of the CDM and BC principal designer roles, the Building Safety Act 2022 and associated regulations
- expertise in the RIBA plan of work, RIBA job lists, and RIBA building control tracker
- proficiency in using NBS Chorus for specifications and AutoDesk Revit
- familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001
- project management skills
- excellent communication skills and strong team leadership abilities
- registration with the Architects Registration Board and preferably RIBA;
