Project managers/creative producers

Dezeen is seeking freelance project managers and creative producers to join its team in London.
Dezeen is the world’s most influential online design and architecture magazine with three million monthly readers.
We are looking for experienced and results-driven producers to deliver creative projects.
You will oversee the planning, execution and delivery of complex video projects and exhibitions, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and on budget.
You will collaborate with creative teams, producers, clients and external partners to drive seamless production processes and deliver exceptional content.
Key responsibilities:
- lead the full lifecycle of video projects from initiation to delivery, including scheduling, resource allocation and budget management
- collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (creative and production) to ensure alignment with project goals
- manage client communication, setting clear expectations and providing regular updates on project progress
- identify and mitigate risks to project timelines and deliverables, ensuring challenges are addressed proactively
- ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and best practices
- foster strong relationships with external vendors, freelancers and partners, negotiating contracts and managing agreements
Qualifications:
- minimum five years’ experience in video project management in the media and online industries
- proven track record of successfully delivering multimedia or digital content projects
- strong understanding of production workflows, post-production and content distribution
- proficiency in project management software
- excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills
- ability to multitask, prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- experience in managing budgets and timelines efficiently
A passion for architecture, design and emerging technologies in the online video industry is essential.
