John McAslan + Partners is seeking a transport architect or an architectural assistant to join its team in London.
John McAslan + Partners is an international design-led studio with a wide and interesting portfolio of projects across multiple sectors including public realm, education, culture and transportation.
A rare opportunity exists for an architect/architectural assistant to join our experienced team to support our work on a high profile, international transport hub in one of the world’s greatest cities. We are seeking an experienced transport architect who has a passion for major transport projects and the regeneration and renewal this unlocks.
With at least three years’ experience or a proven track record in similar projects, you will ideally have excellent skills in leading and coordinating design team activity, with respect to the timely delivery of the design information and to the administration of non-technical issues.
With a responsibility to help carry out the technical and design development of specific parts of a project, in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary design team, we are seeking a candidate who enjoys team working, people management and client relations.
You will also bring strong design, communication and excellent written and graphic skills. Experience working with Rhino and Revit will be essential, although training can be provided. There is likely to be the opportunity for travel and periods of collaborative working overseas in the role.
