Mangera Yvars Architects is an international award-winning architectural design practice providing architecture, interiors, landscape and masterplanning services for clients worldwide. Our approach addresses the needs of contemporary society, leading us to seek innovative and bold solutions for sustainable inclusive development and the reinvention of urban forms and typologies through design research and analysis.

We are currently searching for a senior landscape architect to join MYAA. UK and Middle East experience will be important, alongside the ability to adapt to other global markets. This role will require you to lead all RIBA stages on international projects of varying scales and play a pivotal role in shaping the landscape design philosophy at MYAA.

Key responsibilities:

• project leadership: take the lead in managing and delivering large-scale international projects, contributing your expertise to the landscape, public realm and master planning of innovative projects across the world
• team collaboration: demonstrate your ability to lead and collaborate with a dynamic team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence with clients and consultants
• communication: showcase strong communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders
• mentorship: support and guide junior members of the team, sharing your knowledge and contributing to their professional development

Skills and qualifications:

• UK and Middle Eastern experience: a proven track record of working on complex projects in the UK and Middle East, demonstrating an understanding of regional nuances and requirements
• leadership: ability to lead and inspire team members, driving projects forward with a strategic mindset
• minimum three years’ experience with Professional registration (CMLI or equivalent)
• all RIBA Stages with extensive experience in construction and specifications
• sustainable design practices & Plant knowledge: an in-depth understanding of international plant species, landscape ecology and sustainable design practices
• software proficiency: proficient in Rhino, Revit and high-quality design visualisation and presentation skills with the ability to leverage technology for design and documentation
