Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Martin Edwards architects is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London, UK.
The studio’s current and recent projects include work in the arts, education, workplace and residential sectors, in addition to a number of private houses. We work in London and throughout the UK, both new-build and work to existing buildings – including historic and listed buildings.
Applicants should have a strong design sensibility, and excellent visual communication skills. They should also be interested in technical detailing, have a working knowledge of the building regulations, and be confident in developing technical design packages alongside the design team. The ideal applicant should have great problem-solving skills and work with initiative.
Whilst we are seeking someone with technical experience, the chosen candidate will participate in all studio activities, which include developing concept design proposals, creating planning submissions, developing tender packages, and attending site visits.
AutoCAD, Rhino or Sketchup, and Adobe Photoshop and InDesign skills are essential. Physical model making skills are also valued.
Salary based on experience.
