Architectural assistant
at Hayhurst and Co
Hayhurst and Co. is looking for architectural assistants/recently-qualified architects to join its studio in Spitalfields, London.
We work across a range of building sectors and are interested in design that explores landscape and materiality, and nature and domesticity. We work at every scale; from the design of a window seat to the master-plan for part of a city.
We are looking for new staff to work on residential projects – both one-off private homes and multi-unit residential schemes in London and the south-east.
If you are an experienced part 1 (12 months+ experience), part 2 or recently-qualified architect and you know our work and are interested in our approach to architecture, we would like to hear from you.
The key requirements for the candidates are:
- must have a rigorous and critical approach to design
- must be committed to a bespoke architectural attitude
- must be construction-savvy and love detail
- must have experience of UK architectural practice
- must be well-organised and be able to take initiative
- must be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- must have excellent visual and graphic presentation skills
- must be a clear and articulate communicator (spoken and written)
Experience of Vectorworks, Revit, skills preferred.
