Communications coordinator
at Dellekamp Architecture
Dellekamp is seeking a communications coordinator to join its team in Mexico City.
Editorial development, communications, archive and press.
Mexico City, full-time.
Dellekamp seeks a communications coordinator to interpret, develop and communicate the ideas that shape the practice and its work.
Working closely with the studio’s directors and project teams, the coordinator will translate editorial direction into content, identify connections across projects and archives, and contribute new perspectives, formats and opportunities for communication.
Architectural understanding, editorial judgment and visual sensitivity are central to the role, connecting the practice’s work and culture with architectural, cultural and public audiences.
Role
Communication at Dellekamp grows from the work itself – its architecture, ideas, processes, references and accumulated history.
The communications coordinator works within this context, developing editorial ideas through research, writing, imagery and documentation, and determining how they can be communicated across different formats and audiences.
The role combines editorial development, communications strategy, content production, press relations and archive management across Dellekamp in Mexico and Dellekamp + Maass in Portugal.

- plan and manage the editorial calendar across the practice
- maintain editorial and visual coherence across Dellekamp and Dellekamp + Maass
- evaluate communication through relevance, reach, engagement and opportunities generated

- write and edit project texts, captions, press material, website content, presentations and institutional texts in Spanish and English
- work with directors and project teams to understand and articulate the ideas behind the work

- prepare press material and maintain relationships with architecture, design and cultural media
- identify relevant media, publications and platforms for the practice and its projects
- coordinate photographers, filmmakers, graphic designers, writers and other external collaborators
- maintain project portfolios and communication material across the practice

- develop and maintain the practice’s archive of photography, drawings, renders, models, texts, publications and project documentation
- understand the archive as both a record of the practice and a source for future editorial work
- identify material with architectural, editorial or historical relevance
- establish connections between past and current work, bringing relevant material into new contexts
- coordinate architectural photography, from briefing and planning through image selection and editorial editing
- collaborate with Research and Special Projects on material for publications, exhibitions, lectures and other cultural initiatives
Profile:
- four plus years’ of relevant experience in architecture, communications, editorial work, publishing, art or design
