Dezeen is looking for a bright, organised, hard-working person to help us manage our growing office and team in Hoxton, London.
The junior office manager/HR assistant will be responsible for supporting the Dezeen team by carrying out duties including office administration, housekeeping and reception duties.
The ideal candidate is friendly and efficient with plenty of common sense, good practical skills and a willingness to learn. A good knowledge in HR and a high level of IT literacy are essential.
The role will also involve providing human resources support including administrative duties, note taking in meetings and updating records.
Other duties will include:
- answering the door and the phone
- ordering office supplies
- booking equipment in for repair
- arranging travel
- basic office maintenance
- supporting the directors and the various Dezeen teams
- managing office security
- helping the accounts team
This full-time role will be based at our offices in Hoxton, London. This is a junior role that will suit an ambitious, flexible and hard-working individual who wants to start a career in digital media.
Dezeen offers flexible working and a minimum of 25 days of annual holidays plus public holidays. Our canalside office in Hoxton is located a short walk from Haggerston Overground station.
