Laplace is seeking an architect to join its team in Paris.

Laplace is looking for a motivated, talented and ambitious project architect with a minimum of six years’ of professional experience to work in its Paris office on high-end interior residential projects.

Candidates will assist our project managers in our high-end architectural and interior design projects and should be excellent team players.

Profile:

• has a unique vision and flair for design and innovation
• has a passion for architecture and interior architecture, along with a thorough and sensitive interest and approach to design
• has a strong knowledge of contemporary art
• has proven experience on high-end residential projects and/or museums
• can develop and present a strong architectural concept
• has an interest in architectural details, internal fit-outs, and custom-made furniture, always eager to learn more
• has excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Rhino and Enscape
• is competent in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office to complete graphic visualisations for final presentations
• prepares construction details, architectural plans, schedules, specifications, and other construction documents for use by contractors and trades
• is able to track changes, receive and communicate information to contractors and consultants
• is confident, organised, attentive to details, and proactive
• has excellent technical and presentation skills
• is diligent and rigorous, has a sense of prioritisation, and can manage their own time well

Employment requirements:

• EU passport
• lives in Paris or able to relocate at short notice
• fluent in English mandatory, proficiency in French
• proficiency in Spanish a plus but not absolutely required
• experience in USA would be a plus
