Nebihe Cihan Studio is seeking an experienced and highly motivated senior interior designer to join our London studio.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented designer with a proven track record in delivering exceptional high-end residential interiors from concept through completion.

The successful candidate will possess outstanding design sensibility, excellent technical expertise and the confidence to lead projects, manage client relationships and collaborate closely with consultants, suppliers and contractors.

Please note that this is a full-time, studio-based position. Only applicants currently based in London will be considered.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• a degree in interior design or interior architecture
• a minimum of eight years’ professional experience, including at least five years working on high-end residential projects in London
• a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional luxury residential work from concept through completion
• extensive experience managing projects across all RIBA stages
• excellent design, space planning and technical detailing skills
• strong knowledge of bespoke joinery, custom furniture, materials, finishes, lighting and construction detailing
• excellent AutoCAD skills
• high proficiency in SketchUp or other 3D rendering software, with the ability to produce and review presentation-quality visuals
• advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office
• exceptional communication, presentation and client management skills
• excellent organisational and project management abilities, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members
• a proactive, solutions-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail
• experience using Studio Designer is an advantage

Key responsibilities:

• lead luxury residential interior design projects from concept through installation
• develop innovative design concepts, spatial layouts and material, furniture and colour palettes
• produce and oversee detailed drawing packages, including plans, elevations, bespoke joinery, furniture and upholstery drawings
• prepare comprehensive tender and construction documentation using AutoCAD
• direct the sourcing and specification of FF&E, including bespoke furniture, decorative lighting, fabrics, vintage pieces and antiques
• prepare and present design proposals and client presentations using Adobe InDesign
• produce and oversee high-quality 3D visualisations and presentation material
• manage client relationships throughout the design and construction process
• coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, artisans and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery
• attend client meetings, site visits, contractor meetings and supplier presentations
• manage project budgets, procurement, schedules, logistics and furniture installations
• review design documentation to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance with project objectives
• mentor and support junior designers, contributing to a collaborative and creative studio environment
• maintain Nebihe Cihan Studio’s exceptional standards of design quality, craftsmanship and client service
