at Marks Barfield Architects
Marks Barfield Architects is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant or recently qualified architect to join its team in London.
Marks Barfield Architects is looking for a London-based Part 2 architectural assistant, or recently qualified architect, passionate about design, with around two years of relevant experience, to join our practice. Proficient and current Revit skills are essential, with at least two years’ of hands-on experience using the software.
Our multi-award-winning practice uses its creative approach to provide visionary and technically astute solutions for a diverse portfolio of projects: visitor attractions, arts and culture, workplace, infrastructure, sports and leisure, residential and education. We believe that successful projects come from good research, exploration, working within planetary boundaries, collaboration and great teamwork. We are a regenerative practice, embracing circular economy and passive design principles, while designing to enhance biodiversity for a positive future – and are seeking a like-minded individual.
Our practice is in Clapham, where we work together in the office, enjoying a friendly and collaborative experience, with celebrations (definitely cake) along the way.

All projects are run in Revit, and we are looking for someone who is also willing to share their knowledge and help mentor Part 1s in Revit. As a Part 2, or recently qualified architect, you will be a good team player who is proactive, capable of working independently, confident in delivering project tasks efficiently and able to work with your project team to achieve a successful outcome. As your responsibility, autonomy and skills develop, we will offer you support and opportunities to grow, progress and achieve shared goals.
