London, UK
Senior project architect
at Neil Dusheiko Architects
Neil Dusheiko Architects is seeking a senior project architect to join its award-winning studio in London.
We are looking for an experienced, talented and creative architect with a passion for beautifully crafted residential architecture to join our friendly and collaborative team.
Our work focuses exclusively on bespoke private homes, from sensitive refurbishments and listed buildings to ambitious contemporary extensions and new-build houses. Every project is unique, and we work closely with our clients from the earliest design ideas through to completion on site.
As our portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, thrives on responsibility and is excited by the opportunity to help shape exceptional homes.
The role
You will lead your own projects through all RIBA work stages, working directly with clients, consultants and contractors.
You will enjoy working across all RIBA stages, from concept design through to completion on site, ensuring the quality of the built work reflects the original design intent.
You will work closely with Neil and the team, throughout the design process while taking responsibility for your own projects, giving you the opportunity to contribute to the practice’s design direction and continue developing your skills.
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent design judgement, technical ability and confidence in leading projects from concept to completion.
Essential criteria
You will have:
- a minimum of five years’ UK experience post-Part 3 qualification, or equivalent experience if not ARB registered
- been the lead project architect responsible for delivering at least two high-end private residential projects from concept through to completion
- extensive experience working directly with private domestic clients
- excellent design, technical and detailing skills
- strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, Building Regulations and construction
- experience administering building contracts and managing projects on site
- excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
- advanced knowledge of Vectorworks, SketchUp, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite
- we are also happy to consider exceptional candidates who are not yet ARB registered but can demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
