Role overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated designer to join our team. You will work collaboratively with the design director and senior designers to develop and refine creative concepts that embody the studio’s design ethos. This role involves contributing to both the conceptual and practical aspects of the design process, helping to shape the aesthetic direction of each project. You will ensure all work is delivered in line with agreed timelines, budgets, and client expectations while upholding the studio’s vision and standards.
Contract type: permanent
Hours: full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm
Location: Radnor Studio, 13 Radnor Walk, London, SW3 4BP
Experience required: previous experience in a design studio is preferred.

Key responsibilities
You will support the senior designers and wider design team, providing assistance wherever resources are needed.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- assisting in the development of design schemes that align with the studio’s aesthetic, always subject to final approval before implementation
- managing project-related administration, including the preparation of mood boards, procurement of samples, sourcing supplier quotations, and maintaining the design reference library
- drafting project schedules for review with the Design Director and preparing them for client presentation
- supporting financial processes, including the preparation of estimates, invoices, and purchase orders
- liaising with contractors and attending site meetings as required
- collaborating closely with the Antiques & Bespoke Manager to ensure seamless communication across departments
- accurately completing weekly timesheets
- maintaining a working knowledge of all creative software used by the studio
- willingness to travel internationally and work outside standard hours as necessary
Skills required:
- proficient Mac user
- strong skills in 3D software, preferably SketchUp but Rhino is also ok
- strong skills in CAD
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- adequate skills Microsoft Word and Excel
- desirable: Knowledge of Photoshop
- training will be provided for Estimac
Qualifications required:
- qualification in interior design or a related discipline is preferred
