Part 2 architectural assistant

Artefact is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
This is a full-time role offered as an initial one-year fixed-term contract, with the potential to extend. Applicants must have a minimum of one years’ professional experience (either pre- or post-Part 2). You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across projects and all RIBA work stages.

What we’re looking for:
- a strong design sensibility and a thoughtful approach to architecture
- a desire to learn, grow and contribute to the evolving life of a small practice
- proactivity and independence
- excellent verbal and written communication
- strong technical and construction knowledge, or the drive to develop this on the job
- a commitment to sustainability and working with low-impact materials
- strong model-making and hand-drawing skills
- proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is essential
- experience in Vectorworks (2D and 3D) is preferred
Salary: from £31k, depending on experience
