LOCAL is seeking an architect to join its team in Paris starting immediately.

LOCAL is an award-winning architecture firm based in Paris, working on a wide variety of projects – from housing, offices, retail, health, sport, and leisure facilities to large-scale urban planning. We place design excellence at the center of our priorities and are driven by curiosity, innovation, and collaboration.

We are currently seeking a talented architect with a minimum of two years’ professional experience to join our team as a freelancer and contribute to the concept design phase of exciting new projects. In order to meet shortly upcoming deadlines, this position is for a rapid start. Longer-term collaboration will be discussed following the initial period. The role can be based in Paris or carried out remotely.

Skills and requirements:

• strong sense of design and creativity
• ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
• excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to carry out research-driven work
• proficient in Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Enscape
• fluency in English (French is an asset)

Role

Develop and refine concept designs for diverse architectural projects
Collaborate closely with the design team to create innovative solutions
Contribute to presentations, visualisations and design documentation
