Naomi Paul is hiring an operations manager to join its team in London.
We are looking for an experienced, organised, highly motivated and meticulous individual to join our creative practice. This is an opportunity to become an essential, collaborative member of Naomi Paul Studio’s core team.
Based in East London, our studio specialises in the design and production of iconic textile lighting. Our clients are international high-end interior designers, architects, and a curated number wholesale galleries. We are a small friendly and passionate team with a global reach within the luxury decorative lighting sector.

Working closely with Naomi, our freelance in-house Makers and Technician as the primary link between all areas within the company. The role requires a high level of production management, acute attention to detail with practical hands-on skills to maintain the highest standards of our handcrafted products.
Job requirements
Head of pre/postproduction:
- create production schedules – planning textile production, product components, wiring, packing and logistics.
This includes:
- liaising with head of sales to maintain up to date information on orders
- liaising and maintaining a good communication with suppliers
- planning production around freelance makers schedules
- planning production for the part-time technician’s schedule
- managing component stock – obtaining quotes, ordering, stock taking
- managing delays to minimise impact to client lead times
- maintain standards of excellence through detailed quality control throughout the production process, which includes components and product testing, wiring and packing
- developing and maintaining the upkeep of studio for maximum efficiency
Admin:
- maintenance and development of in-house systems and databases for maximum efficiency across all areas of the studio – Airtable/Trello/Clearbooks/Google Drive/Dropbox/Slack
- managing sample pack orders
- overseeing and ensuring health and safety across the studio working practice
- managing studio sundries ordering and logging for accountants
