Be part of our growing team and bring your expertise to crafting high-end bespoke furniture for luxury residential and commercial projects. We’re seeking an enthusiastic CAD Designer to create precise technical drawings for custom cabinetry and fitted joinery, working closely with our project and production teams to bring stunning designs to life.

Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire, UK

Key responsibilities:

  • create accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for bespoke joinery using SolidWorks and other industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD)
  • collaborate with sales, project management, and procurement teams to understand project needs
  • interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions for wood fabrication
  • update and revise CAD files to meet project and client requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • provide technical input during design meetings to optimize wood layouts and construction details
  • maintain organised documentation and archiving of drawings per company processes
  • support manufacturing teams with technical guidance on CAD designs.

Skills and experience:

  • proven experience (ideally two plus years’) in producing technical drawings for bespoke luxury cabinetry or high-end joinery
  • proficient in SolidWorks, SWOOD Design other CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
  • strong knowledge of joinery materials, construction methods, and hardware
  • exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
  • clear communicator, able to present technical information to teams and clients
  • excellent organisational and time-management skills to meet project deadlines
  • collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn new techniques or software
