Part 1 architectural assistant

Joe Swift Architects is hiring a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
I’m looking for a Part 1 architectural assistant to work with me on a freelance basis one to two days a week at my studio in Gaunson House, Tottenham.
The role is a mix of drawing and office support, with the chance to gain valuable site experience. You’ll shadow me on live projects, observing and learning how to deal with contractors, details and real-world problem solving.
Day-to-day work will include:
- CAD drawing and redrawing from marked-up sketches
- helping set up templates and presentation graphics
- assisting with project documentation and general office tasks
- accompanying me to site for first-hand experience of architectural practice in action
This is a good opportunity to cut your teeth in practice, learning detailing, drawing standards and the realities of projects on site in a supportive environment.
Location: Gaunson House, Tottenham, North London
Flexible days (one to two days per week).
Paid freelance basis.
