Green Code Architects is seeking architects to join its team in London.
GCA is seeking talented architects to join our growing London studio, with opportunities for collaboration across our international teams. This is an exciting role to contribute to diverse and innovative projects in the residential, commercial, and urban design sectors.
While the role is based in London, we also welcome applicants interested in our Colombo studio, or those keen on exploring future opportunities for relocation and cross-studio collaboration.

Founded in London in 2017, GCA has evolved into a design-driven international practice. Our team of architects, designers, engineers, and developers works across a wide range of scales – from crafted homes and interiors to large-scale developments and masterplans.
Working seamlessly across both London and Colombo, our studios bring together local knowledge and global expertise to deliver thoughtful, sustainable, and innovative design solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- contributing to design across all RIBA stages, from early concepts through delivery
- preparing technical drawings, specifications, and construction packages
- embedding sustainable design and material innovation into projects
- collaborating with colleagues and consultants across disciplines and locations
- supporting design reviews, workshops, and research initiatives
- coordinating project information and managing external partners
- building strong relationships with clients, craftspeople, and collaborators
Successful applicants will:
- hold RIBA Part 2/Part 3 (or equivalent) qualification
- have four to five years’ of relevant professional experience at the appropriate level
- demonstrate strong design, detailing, and technical skills with attention to materiality
- show experience working across multiple project stages
- be proficient in Revit, Adobe Suite, and AutoCAD (Rhino/Enscape a plus)
- be collaborative, organised, proactive, and an excellent communicator
- have a clear interest in sustainable design, adaptive reuse, and community architecture
