Architectural technologist/technician

Grey Griffiths Architects is seeking an architectural technologist/technician to join its team in London.
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic person to join our small practice. You would be contributing to most of the projects in the office, including beautifully crafted domestic extensions, rural houses and mixed-use developments.
The role is a contract role initially with a view to a possible permanent position. We would love someone to help build the practice with us. Good knowledge of Revit would be ideal. We can potentially offer flexible working hours/working from home and are open to discussing other potential benefits. Salary is dependent on experience.
Key tasks:
- research and development of technical details, products and systems
- production of technical/working drawing packages
- production of written specifications
- liaising with consultants and coordinating projects
- attending meetings with clients, consultants, suppliers and incorporating feedback
- identifying and advising on potential project issues
- developing project programmes and discussing timing/scheduling of work
- conduct site visits as necessary and aid with on-site monitoring
Secondary tasks:
- to contribute to front-end work through supporting on planning applications
- to aid with presentation work as required
- to get involved in concept design through design reviews/workshops
- keep abreast of statutory requirements, changes to legislation etc.
- to help explore new avenues of work, such as self-build and community-led projects, modular housing
- evaluate and advise on environmental, legal and regulatory issues
- to continue to develop knowledge of Revit and other relevant software
