Material and product advisor

Material Source Studio is looking for a material and product advisor to join its teams in London, Manchester and Glasgow, UK.
These roles are one role per studio, and permanent full-time positions.

About Material Source
Material Source is a ‘beautifully useful’ space for the Architecture, Interior Design, and Property community. Inspirational and useful in equal measure, we have fast built a reputation as a world-class destination with Studios in Manchester, London and Glasgow.
About you

- skilled at collaborating with teams to deliver a seamless experience for Material Source Studio visitors
- thrive in a dynamic, client-facing role, adapting to changing needs
- proactive and take initiative to solve problems and improve processes
- strong communication and organizational skills, ensuring smooth operations
- capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- confident leading tours and communicating with industry professionals (they’re a great bunch!)
The role
Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- acting as a main point of contact for visitors, providing an excellent guest experience
- maintain strong product knowledge and industry awareness; lead studio, product, and material tours
- build strong relationships with Studio Partners and represent brands confidently
- support Partners with POD updates, sample and stockroom management, literature restocks and display upkeep
- ensure the studio is consistently presented to a high standard, including housekeeping, hospitality, and meeting space setup
- engage in commercial conversations, feeding back opportunities and leads to the internal team
- day-to-day studio administration, including managing bookings, schedules, and the events calendar
- assisting the studio team in stock control, supplies ordering, and general team support
- data entry and CRM tasks to ensure accurate tracking of Partner and
- member engagement
- assist with event coordination
Last but by no means least
Client liaison is key to this role, managing and maintaining relationships with our Members and Partners to ensure their needs and expectations are met, while efficiently resolving any issues that may arise.

Location: Studios based in Manchester, London and Glasgow. Please clearly specify the location you wish to apply for.
Salary: Depending on experience + benefits
Working hours: Monday to Friday 08.45am to 17.00pm. Candidate will be required to work our events and be available for mornings and evenings on a shift system.
