Material Source is seeking an organised and experienced Studio Events Co-ordinator to plan and deliver high-quality events across our three Studio locations in London, Manchester and Glasgow. This role is responsible for managing events from concept through to delivery, ensuring a consistent brand experience and strong attendee engagement.
About you
As a Studio Events Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in creating welcoming, engaging, well-run experiences within the studios. Working closely with the Studio and Marketing teams you will manage and support the delivery of events, daily studio activity, member engagement and ensuring each space operates smoothly and reflects our commitment to an unparalleled experience.
You are a confident, personable and proactive individual who enjoys connecting with people and delivering exceptional experiences. With a friendly, people-focused approach, you will feel comfortable engaging with our Members (Architects, Interior Designers and property professionals) and Partners (supplier brands), contributing to a vibrant and professional studio environment.
This role suits a self-starter who demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. You will work collaboratively within a small team, showing excellent attention to detail across both the physical studio environment and administrative tasks. Strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, creativity, and a genuine interest for design and the built environment are key.
Key responsibilities:
- plan and deliver a range of events (including but not limited to Clerkenwell Design Week, Seminars, Roundtables, CPDs, craft workshops and meetings) from initial concept to completion
- ensure all events align with the Material Source brand, values, and Member and Partner experience standards
- work closely with the Marketing team to develop event ideas, creative assets, and promotional materials
- promote events and drive attendance through marketing and communications activity
- coordinate with internal teams (Studios and Marketing) and external suppliers to ensure smooth event delivery
- manage event registrations, attendance tracking, and guest lists with strong attention to detail
- provide regular updates to internal teams and stakeholders on attendance and event progress
- manage post-event follow-up communications with attendees
- develop and document clear, standardised event processes for use across the business
- manage event budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and value for money is achieved
- identify opportunities to enhance attendee experience and engagement at every event
- oversee on-the-day event setup, delivery, and management across all studios, with in-person support and travel required as needed
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role, based in the London studio, supporting day-to-day studio operations and guest engagement, with flexibility to work across other Material Source Studio locations to support events.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and confident in managing multiple events across different locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working in a fast-paced setting in amongst a very dedicated and passionate team.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5:00pm, with flexibility to work early mornings and evenings as required to ensure the smooth delivery of our events.
