Part 2 architectural assistant

Fatkin is seeking a talented and motivated Part 2 architectural assistant to join its London studio.

Due to the continued growth of the practice, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of infrastructure projects spanning RIBA Stages 1–6.

Full-time or Part-time (min. 24 hrs/week)

The role

We are a collaborative, design-led practice with a friendly and supportive studio culture. Our work focuses on delivering thoughtful, well-crafted buildings with social value, and we aim to support our staff in developing both technically and professionally.

Our requirements:

  • Part 2 qualification (or equivalent)
  • experience working in Revit
  • professional working proficiency in written and spoken English
  • the right to work in the UK
  • familiarity with UK planning and building regulations
  • evidence of construction detailing skills
  • candidates should be comfortable contributing to the work of a project team under supervision and/or working independently when needed

We are looking for someone who is proactive, curious and keen to learn, and who enjoys working collaboratively within a team.

Working pattern and benefits

We welcome applications for both full-time and part-time roles. We support flexible working and a range of working patterns, and while the role is primarily office-based, occasional home working is possible.

We actively support Part 2 Assistants undertaking Part 3 studies, offering mentoring, study support and additional paid leave.
