Studio manager – the heart, the hustle and the engine room
Location: near Midhurst, South Downs (studio-based).
Type: full-time or part-time (flexible).

We are looking for a key person to bring that same clarity, energy, and care to our own studio.
About the role
We are looking for a studio manager, and for us, this title means being a doer with a growth mindset. You will be the engine room of the practice, working directly with the directors to drive the business forward. This role is for someone ambitious; you are here to refine, improve, and help us grow.
You will be the first voice a potential client hears and the steady hand that keeps our projects organised. You need to be a military-grade organiser with a creative soul. We are looking for someone who gets a kick out of a perfectly organised CRM and a beautifully curated Instagram feed.
What you will be doing
The storyteller (marketing and strategy):
- you will take charge of both planning and executing our marketing
- strategy and ROI: you will develop our marketing dashboard and effectively measure the Return on Investment, ensuring our creative content performs well
- content creation: you will champion our social streams (Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest), creating content that captures our studio culture. You bring a graphic eye to the team, whipping up assets in Adobe or editing a Reel on your phone
- analytics: you will manage our website and collaborate with external PPC/SEO consultants. A solid understanding of Google Analytics and web performance is key here
The voice (sales and client care):
- clear communication is the foundation of our client relationships. You are the frontline of that mission
- first impressions: you will be the first port of call for prospects, communicating with confidence, warmth, and articulation on the phone and online
- the pipeline: you will take total ownership of our CRM (HubSpot). You will filter prospects and ensure every lead is followed through to a clear conclusion
- education: You will help us refine our client onboarding and create education-based materials that guide our clients through the architectural process
The engine room (operations and admin):
- you will own the day-to-day running of the studio. This is about a genuine care for detail
- systems: taking ownership of our project management software (Total Synergy)
- finance support: working alongside our bookkeeper and accountant, you will help keep records organised and audit-ready
- environment: keeping the studio organised, welcoming, and tidy, from ordering supplies to welcoming visitors.

- the skillset: you are highly organised. You are comfortable with HubSpot (or similar CRMs) and have a strong grasp of Google Analytics/Web data

- the commute: our studio is beautiful and located off the beaten track. You’ll need a car or a bike to get here
