Project architect/senior architect/senior technologist
at Project London

Project London is hiring a project architect/senior architect/senior technologist to join its growing team in London.

We are an award-winning architecture, interior design, and project management studio specialising in high-end residential design and delivery. From concept to completion, we create homes of lasting quality for discerning clients, blending creativity with technical rigour and commercial insight.

With a strong pipeline of luxury projects across London, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on architect who can help lead the studio’s design team – driving both project excellence and studio performance at this exciting stage in our growth.

About you

You are a confident, organised architect with strong leadership experience in high-end residential projects. You are as comfortable running projects as you are supporting others to do the same – mentoring junior staff, managing internal resources, and helping improve processes.

You combine creativity with a commercial mindset, understand the demands of HNW and UHNW clients, and have a clear grasp of how to maintain project profitability while delivering outstanding results. You lead with clarity, communicate with warmth and authority, and thrive in a fast-paced, design-led environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • lead multiple projects across all RIBA stages, from concept to completion
  • oversee client presentations, drawing packages, technical detailing, and specifications
  • take ownership of resourcing and time planning across your team (experience with Harvest or similar a plus)
  • support team members through mentorship and day-to-day guidance
  • monitor project profitability and ensure that scope and fees are proactively managed
  • oversee contract administration and liaise with consultants and contractors on site
  • maintain quality across all deliverables, ensuring design integrity and technical compliance
  • uphold Project London’s standards of design, communication, and professionalism

Required qualifications:

  • a degree in architecture/technology
  • strong experience across all RIBA stages, particularly in luxury residential projects
  • proven ability to lead project teams, both in-studio and on-site
  • excellent knowledge of UK building regulations, contract administration, and construction methods
  • confident managing clients, consultants, and contractors
  • highly proficient in Vectorworks (2D)
  • skilled in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office
  • experienced with (or open to learning) time-tracking and resource planning tools
  • detail-oriented, process-driven, and commercially aware

Why join Project London?

  • competitive salary, based on experience
  • hybrid working model: three days in our Parsons Green studio, two days remote
  • 25 days’ holiday per year, plus office closure over the Christmas break
  • be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team
  • meaningful career progression opportunities as the studio grows
  • direct influence over design direction, delivery, and studio culture
