Part 2/Part 3 architect

UPP Architects + Town Planners is seeking a talented Part 2 or recently qualified Part 3 architect to join its growing team in London.

The successful candidate will have ideally three to five years’ of professional experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and design-led architect to take on increased responsibility within a young, collaborative architecture and planning practice working across a wide range of multi-scale projects throughout the UK. The role sits between architectural assistant and senior/project architect level, offering exposure to all RIBA stages with clear opportunities for progression.

You will work closely with directors, senior architects, architects, and planners, contributing meaningfully to both design and technical delivery while continuing to develop your professional skills in a supportive environment.

What we are looking for:

  • Part 2 or Part 3 qualified architect
  • ideally three to five years’ experience in UK architectural practice
  • experience working across multiple RIBA stages (particularly stages 2 to 4)
  • strong design ability with a well-presented portfolio
  • good technical knowledge and an understanding of UK building regulations
  • highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
  • confident using Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Rhino experience is beneficial but not essential
  • good written and spoken English
  • proactive, organised, and keen to take ownership of work
  • eligibility to work in the UK

Areas of responsibility:

  • contribute to the design development and technical delivery of projects across all RIBA stages
  • produce high-quality architectural drawings, models, and presentation material
  • assist in coordinating information with consultants and other team members
  • support project architects and directors in managing design changes and technical solutions
  • attend project meetings, client meetings, and consultant workshops as appropriate
  • help ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with building regulations and quality standards
  • play an active role in the studio culture and collaborative working environment

Whilst working with us you will:

  • be part of an integrated team of architects and town planners
  • work closely with directors and senior architects, with direct mentoring and support
  • gain hands-on experience across design, planning, and technical delivery
  • have opportunities to grow into greater responsibility depending on experience and ambition
