Role overview

As the senior digital and marketing manager at Rose Uniacke, you will play a pivotal hands-on role in shaping and delivering high-impact campaigns that elevate our brand positioning. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive marketing professional who is as comfortable generating ideas as they are rolling up their sleeves to execute them. You will also be responsible for two direct reports – the digital marketing manager and the customer contact data assistant. This role is based in the office, and reports directly to the business development director.

  • working days: Monday to Friday
  • working hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • location: 13 Radnor Walk, London, SW3 4BP, and other locations
  • experience required: five plus years’ of experience in a relevant marketing role

Key Responsibilities

Digital roadmap:

  • develop and manage digital strategy across all areas of the business, encompassing email marketing, social media, and brand-building
    campaigns to drive sales and awareness

Website and e-commerce:

  • deliver the website content plan roadmap, responsible for managing projects and activities to ensure the delivery of a high-performing website
  • create and manage content strategy
  • identify points of friction by mapping customer journey and reviewing user behaviour
  • lead the implementation of online growth and digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales
  • agency management: work with our web agency, ensuring the output of key projects and initiatives
  • provide strategic guidance to the digital website manager to ensure that the website is updated in line with stock availability, visually appealing, user-friendly, optimised for conversion, and meets the commercial and seasonal needs of the company

Marketing execution:

  • manage and update marketing calendar, ensuring consistency across all channels and seamless delivery to strengthen brand presence, deepen
    audience engagement, and drive sales growth
  • support new business manager attending and supporting showroom events
  • manage photography and content budgets, work with broader marketing team to identify what needs to be shot and how to shoot it, how the assets will be used and ensure that the shoots are budgeted and project managed

Reporting:

  • track and analyse marketing results to measure the success of marketing campaigns
  • work with digital marketing manager to create a monthly report on progress of campaigns and to feedback on what is working and what needs
    tweaking with our web merchandising

Agency management – public relations:

  • build and manage relationships with strategic partners, including our external PR and Social functions, by researching and executing partner
    projects

Build customer engagement:

  • execute our customer engagement strategy to foster brand loyalty and drive repeat business. This includes developing and supporting the growth of target audiences, and creating and implementing targeted marketing
    campaigns directed at these audiences

Other:

  • manage our image library with our digital marketing manager, you are responsible for sending out all images to the press, ensuring images are labelled correctly and that rights are observed

Skills required:

  • a trading mindset – be a commercial marketeer, passionate about selling product and growing product businesses
  • a hands-on, proactive approach – equally confident generating creative ideas and rolling up their sleeves to execute them with pace and precision
  • strong relationships with design-world media
  • creative thinker with the ability to work collaboratively, developing strong ideas, concepts, and approaches
  • natural aptitude for identifying and pursuing opportunities
  • proven hands-on management skills of in-house talent and partner teams
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • experience in, or a strong personal interest in, the worlds of interiors, architecture, antiques, and furniture design
  • significant digital marketing experience, ideally within luxury, retail, design or lifestyle sectors, with a proven track record in building digital strategies, optimising e-commerce conversion, and customer journey analysis
  • passionate about selling product and capable of translating that in an e- commerce setting
  • solid understanding of managing an ecommerce and brand website, experience of SEO; hands-on experience of working on Centra or Shopify plus platforms, GA4, e-commerce analytics, and data visualisation tools
  • hands on experience of managing organic social media channels such as Instagram, understanding content creation and community management
