Gallery sales executive
at JIG Studio
JIG Studio is seeking a gallery sales executive to join its team in London.
JIG Studio is a London gallery and design studio focused on contemporary Brazilian furniture, objects and art, with a permanent showroom in Soho and a programme centred on Brazilian designers and makers.
The role is suited to someone who is commercially sharp, visually literate and confident building relationships with private clients, architects, interior designers and specifiers.
This is a hybrid position based three days a week in the studio and two days remotely.
Key responsibilities include:
- managing the day-to-day presentation and running of the gallery
- welcoming and advising visitors, collectors and trade clients
generating, tracking and converting sales leads - developing relationships with architects, interior designers, developers and other trade contacts
- preparing quotations, proposals and follow-up communications
maintaining the sales pipeline and reporting on activity and performance - supporting events, openings and private viewings
- coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners on orders and deliveries
Applicants should have:
- experience in gallery sales, furniture sales, interiors, design retail or a related client-facing role
- strong communication and relationship-building skills
a genuine interest in furniture, interiors, art and design
confidence working in a small, entrepreneurial business - good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries at once
- experience using email, spreadsheets and CRM or pipeline tools
Knowledge of Brazilian design, collectible design or the interiors sector would be an advantage.
Salary will include a base plus performance-based pay linked to sales and lead conversion.
