Spaceagency is hiring a graphic designer to join its team in London.

Spaceagency is seeking a full-time environmental graphic designer to join our growing team in central London on exciting, high-profile international projects.

Spaceagency is a design agency based in London and working globally. Our expertise lies in how people experience spaces. We design people’s journeys through urban, cultural, sporting, event, retail and hospitality spaces. Our international client portfolio includes cities, global brands and collaborations with renowned architectural practices. Upcoming projects include public realm wayfinding, future city experience strategies and exhibition design in the Middle East, Asia and the UK.

This is a specialised graphic design role working with a committed design team alongside architects and urban designers. As an environmental graphic designer, you’ll get the opportunity to work on wayfinding, environmental graphics, exhibit design, information design, typography, and mapping.

First and foremost, you must be an experienced graphic designer who loves to work in spatial design including graphic design applied to spaces, style guidelines, supergraphics, information systems and the design of mapping.. You will work with our team on a range of projects from initial workshops with clients, research, concept, design and implementation. Like us, you are driven by quality and have set a high bar for your work. Ideally you will be looking for that next move in your career, having spent the past 4+ years working in a comparable studio / team environment.

Technical qualifications and role requirements:

• professional degree in visual communication or a related design discipline
• minimum four years’ of professional experience
• excellent 2D software skills: Adobe Creative Suite
• spatial design skills a plus
• design talent and portfolio of professional design experience which must include examples of visual communication in the built environment
• strong analytical skills and strategic design thinking demonstrated through examples of information graphics
• excellent communication skills – professional English, written and verbal
• availability and eligibility to begin work immediately in London with a current valid working visa for the UK
