Architect/experienced Part 2 – interior-focused

TateHindle is looking for a recently qualified interior-focused architect/experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

Our portfolio ranges from innovative new builds to the sensitive restoration of listed buildings. We have a vacancy for an interior-focused architect or experienced Part 2 architectural assistant, with proven commercial experience in both refurbishment and new build projects.

The role will involve supporting the project Associate and the project team in delivering a number of exciting large scale commercial projects in central London.

The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting in the design and development of commercial office projects from concept design through to construction.

In addition to excellent design and communication skills, the successful candidate would have proven Revit experience and Adobe Creative Cloud.

The successful candidate must have:

  • experience in the development of office design concepts
  • proven design and detailing expertise, working directly within a 3D BIM environment with Revit, SketchUp and Enscape experience
  • experience of liaising with other consultants and the wider project team
  • understanding of the planning process in the UK
  • good and current knowledge of UK building regulations
  • excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • keen interest in current and emerging trends across the commercial / office market
  • high levels of team spirit with a collaborative and positive approach
