Simpson Studio Architects has an opportunity for a part-time studio manager to join its firm in London.
Simpson Studio Architects is an exciting young practice located in central London. Established in 2013 the practice has grown to six people and has a broad portfolio of projects, working on high-end residential and commercial architecture, as well as vehicle, product and furniture design.
Simpson Studio Architects are looking for a studio manager, whose tasks will include running the studio, developing business, dealing with incoming queries, bookkeeping and payroll, coordinate social and educational events, and managing the studios PR and social media.
The role is part-time, two to three days a week, and we are flexible about how this is split. Salary pro-rata of £24,000-£27,000 pa, depending on experience.
We are looking for someone who:
- is organised, proactive and self-motivated
- has the ability to prioritise, problem solve and act on initiative
- excellent record keeping
- at least two years’ experience in a similar role
- an interest in architecture and design
- discretion in handling confidential information
- is experienced and confident in liaising with clients
- has excellent spoken and written English
Software skills required:
- Mac computers
- Microsoft Office
- financial management using Xero accounting application
- knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
