Mid-weight/senior interior designer
at ACME

ACME is looking for a mid-weight/senior designer to join its studio in London.

ACME is a London-based practice operating in the fields of contemporary architecture, urban planning, interior and product design, working with private, corporate and public clients.

We are looking for a creative mid-weight or senior interior designer to develop the interiors of a contemporary seafront residential development in Kent for which we are the architects and masterplanners.

The role would suit an architecture graduate who now specialises in residential interior design, but we are open to applicants of all backgrounds. Strong technical, process and supplier knowledge along with proven experience on large scale residential projects is imperative.

The candidate also may be asked to assist on other interior projects within the office including a hotel in London, so hospitality experience is a plus.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • a creative eye with a strong design led portfolio, with some built work and experience of commercial residential schemes
  • strong working knowledge of suppliers, ironmongery, electrical ironmongery, OSE, sanitary ware, fabrics and materials as well as the ability to create custom designs
  • practical knowledge of how to design bathrooms and kitchens and liaise with specialist suppliers and clients
  • proficiency in producing drawing packs, schedules and interior architecture details
  • strong communication skills and 3D visualisation skills
  • the ability to lead more junior members and work closely with our architecture team for coordination

The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop. The ability to use Revit, Rhino and 3ds Max would be an advantage.

ACME offers a competitive benefits and salary package as well as a supportive environment, training and career development opportunities.

Only successful candidates will be contacted.

Applications should be submitted using the ‘apply’ link below, (PDF, max. 8MB).

Please include cover letter, CV, portfolio, notice period required to leave your current position and salary expectations. ACME is an equal opportunities employer.
