Event Communication is seeking an artworker to join its team in London.

Working pattern: at least three days per week in our London office with the other graphics team members
Salary: day rate £200-300 depending on experience

Level: mid>senior
Reports to: Stuart Williams – graphics lead
We are currently looking for a creative artworker to work alongside our in-house graphic design team to help deliver a number of international museum projects. These range from a museum displaying objects representing five millennia of art and history to a one that immerses its visitors in an interactive world of fairytales.
Event delivers world-class exhibit design, storytelling and masterplanning, and for museums, galleries and other visitor attractions across the globe. We have been established for 35 years and are the leading specialist firm in Europe.
Key deliverables:
- setting up artwork for print, with a focus on quality and file management
- artworking of large-scale illustrations on to a variety of standard and non-standard print substrates
- exploring new solutions/challenging print production – always asking “is this the best way to do this?”
- supporting the full-time graphic designers across a number of exciting projects
- ensuring consistency across the multiple graphic elements
- creating repeat items such as object labels
Key requirements:
- strong Adobe CS InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator skills
- expert knowledge of print processes and the creation of artwork
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- excellent communication skills
- have three plus years of experience as an established art-worker
- an understanding architect drawings, elevations, scales and plans
