Studio Fuksas is looking for a BIM manager to join its practice in Rome, Italy.

The BIM manager/coordinator will work on the delivery of the projects alongside the Project manager. Support the team during conference calls and technical meetings relative to the different projects he/she will be involved with.

Duties:

• set up an initial model and associated BIM support documents
• coordinate with sub-consultant models
• make sure the LOD are as per the contract request.
• coordinate, training and support junior staff
• project delivery
• quality control and compliance with company standards
• professional knowledge of BIM best practices

Experience required:

• professional degree in architecture
• minimum of five years of experience as an architect/designer on built and published references
• legal permits and visa required to work in Italy
• experience in filing construction documents and construction administration
• experience in leading international architecture office

Skills required:

• fluent in English, spoken and written
• strong conceptual and design skills
• client management and project coordination skills
• technical detailing and construction administration skills
• knowledge of construction methods
• ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and budget your time
• ability to take initiative in response to direction or instruction
• a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working
• great interpersonal communication skills

Software required:

• Revit– high level
• Dynamo- high level
• AutoCAD -high level
• Adobe Suite – is a plus
• Rhino – is a plus
