Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo (WATG) is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

The London location of WATG is hiring a Part 2 architectural assistant.
Summary of position
The architecture assistant position provides design/technical support for the architecture staff. Responsible for assisting in the preparation of design and construction documents as well as correcting and updating drawings. Responsible for documenting design concepts in CAD for master planning, architecture and interior design throughout all stages of the design process. Provides assistance to project teams and other staff members as required on all project phases.
Job requirements:
- highly desired to have extensive experience in a similar environment in architecture and RIBA Part 2
- ideally three years’ professional experience required, however must be eager to learn
- requires the ability to prioritise and organise
- must have good verbal and written communication skill
- be capable of multi-tasking jobs and work with teams to accomplish project work
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following capabilities:
- good organisational skills
- prioritisation skills
- proficient in Windows, Word and Excel
- proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign
- have excellent design ability, graphic skills and detailed technical design ability
- experience in hospitality and high-end residential projects
- presentation skills
Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- presentation boards
- product research
- drawing production support at all stages of the design process
- preparation of presentation standards drawings and reports
- preparation of schedules
- preparation of technical details
Notwithstanding the above, the employee will be expected to carry out those duties normally associated with the proper performance of the role of an architecture assistant and other activities which are reasonably incidental to his or her principal job.
