WaM Architecture is looking for architects with UK planning experience to join its creative team in Windsor, UK.
WaM Architecture specialises in works up to planning with an established reputation in delivering outstanding planning approvals. We have an expert knowledge in unlocking complex sites from early capacity studies through detailed planning applications on a variety of building types in a variety of sectors. We are fortunate to be working on a number of significant heritage assets as well on large scale residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.
What we are looking for in all prospective candidates:
- enthusiastic and passionate team player, must have good sense of humour, be personable and sociable
- a sound understanding of heritage and the rejuvenation of old buildings
- excellent visual and verbal communication
- extensive experience in RIBA stages 1-3
- experience in client liaison and interaction with local authorities
- experience managing consultant teams as part of the planning process
- good work ethic and willingness to grow/learn
- good productivity/high level of output/quick decision making
- a sound understanding of the relevant residential design guidance documents
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a minimum of three years’ . experience in UK professional practice including knowledge, talent, and expertise on the planning process. You will require familiarity and competence in RIBA work stages 1-3. You will be expected to manage and guide all aspects of the projects you work on, showing aptitude and confidence for independent problem-solving. You will be required to have excellent time management.
