The Boundary is looking to hire a project visualisation artist to join its studio in London.
Position: full-time experienced project visualisation artist

About the Boundary
Founded in 2014 by Peter Guthrie and Henry Goss, The Boundary has rapidly gained an international reputation for excellence in the visual representation of architecture and the built environment. Working with a number of the world’s top architects and designers including seven Pritzker Architecture Prize laureates; Richard Rogers, Tadao Ando, Renzo Piano, Richard Meier, Herzog & de Meuron, Álvaro Siza, and Peter Zumthor, The Boundary has completed over one hundred major projects in the past four years comprising many thousands of images, animations and virtual reality tours.
As pioneers of digital technologies for graphic representation of the built environment, The Boundary continues to operate ahead of the curve, providing progressive and ambitions clients with game-changing content continually setting new standards and raising the bar within the industry.
The role
We are seeking to recruit an experienced, talented and enthusiastic project visualisation artist to join our team in London. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of creating professional-level internal and external CGIs from scratch and a clear understanding of modelling, lighting and composition. You will have a passion for architecture, design and photography. Reporting to the directors will be working as part of a team on multiple projects, producing compelling work to set deadlines. You will also demonstrate a desire to explore and test new technologies and techniques, and to share these with The Boundary team.
Skills and qualifications:
- proficient with the main tools of the trade including 3dsmax and Corona Renderer
- experience of Premiere and After Effects would be useful but not essential
- independence and autonomy; can manage own tasks and timings without close supervision
- multitasking; ability to manage various tasks and demands at once
- clear communication skills, excellent verbal and written English
- three plus years’ experience in the fields of architectural visualisation, architecture or interior design
- candidate should demonstrate a particular skill in interior design and an aesthetic sensibility for styling high-end interior images. Candidate’s portfolio should clearly demonstrate this
- education in architectural visualisation, architecture or a similar discipline
