Architectural designer
SCAAA is looking for an architectural designer to join its busy team in Los Angeles.
SCAAA is an architecture firm located in West LA. We are looking for full-time designers with exceptional design skills, capable of fulfilling key roles in our office, while working directly with the principals.
Responsibilities:
Researching, designing, drafting, and detailing in all phases of design
Attending Client and Consultant meetings
Qualifications:
- professional degree in architecture
- four+ years experience in architectural design and documentation; mixed-use project experience is required
- high level of proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Rhino, and Revit
- general knowledge of architectural practice including site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical engineering and construction techniques
- excellent communication, writing and organisational skills
- a positive, collaborative approach to design
- willingness to travel internationally for work
- legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for employee sponsorship
