Davydov Bespoke is hiring a business development manager in London.
Davydov Bespoke is a fast-growing bespoke furniture manufacturer with a focus on design. Our workshop is based in the heart of south London. We are looking to recruit a business development manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales of bespoke furniture and a portfolio of existing clients. Experience of working with commercial and residential clients. We are looking for a hardworking, driven candidate who is hungry for success and looking to join an established & growing business.
Responsibilities and duties
This role is the main point of contact within the business for all project enquiries and includes:
- maintaining and developing opportunities with existing clients and actively generating new sales by developing new client relationships
- partnering with architects, developers, specifiers and interior designers
- building on an already high-value project pipeline and working on converting this pipeline into live projects/sales
- delivering CPD presentations and attending networking events
- reporting role deliverables to the senior management in line with company strategy and growth objectives
Qualifications and skills
The successful candidate should:
- have experience selling to architects, developers, specifiers and interior designers
- come from a similar product background – having experience with an aesthetic where a thorough comprehension of the design concept is required
- will have a demonstrable track record of project sales
- will be energetic and ambitious – recognising the opportunity this role presents and the working to achieve their professional and earning targets whilst assisting us in achieving ours
- will be IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and CAD
- will be meticulous, highly organised and efficient
- will be capable of delivering neat, clear and accurate design information and schedules
