Interior designer
Nelson Design has an opportunity for an interior designer to join its practice in central London.
Founded by Claire Nelson in 1991, Nelson Design is a creative and vibrant architectural interior design company, offering strong design solutions to create bespoke and remarkable spaces.
Based in central London, they continue to grow and now seeks an interior designer to join their busy design studio. The successful candidate will be working from brief to completion and will need to be an all-round designer, capable of working on several different projects at one time showing flexibility within the role.
The person we are looking for must have:
- at least three years’ experience in high-end residential interiors
- strong design skills
- strong technical skills
- strong FF&E skills with knowledge of sourcing and specifying high end products
- ability to generate and develop concepts in order to provide effective solutions to client brief
- ability to prepare schedules, specifications and drawings for tender
- ability of scheduling and communication of costs and specifications to all parties concerned
- excellent project and time management
- proficiency in Photoshop, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, InDesign
- excellent communication skills, well organized and very detail- oriented as well as being able to work under pressure and work within a team
- fluent in both written and spoken English
- UK resident
