Studio Jill is looking for a senior interior designer to join its London-based interior design studio.
About us
Studio Jill is a new interior design studio with a number of exciting projects in the retail and hospitality sectors. Our design philosophy is customer/guest focused and combines a healthy mix of intelligent thinking and gut creative instinct.
We encourage a strong spirit of collaboration on all our projects working closely with our clients, team members, consultants and suppliers.
Studio Jill’s founder has more than twenty years’ experience working for a number of internationally renowned design agencies up to partner level having conceived and delivered projects with some of the world’s leading brands.
This position will provide the successful applicant with an opportunity to join a new design studio at its inception with the exciting prospect of being a core member of the team as the studio develops and grows.
You should have:
- a minimum of five years’ experience working as an interior designer in the hospitality and/or retail sectors having developed projects from client briefing through to completion on site
- the ability to manage, nurture and motivate members of the studio design team
- fluency in Vectorworks (2D and 3D), SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
- a high standard of freehand sketching
- fluency in spoken and written English
- eligibility to live and work in the UK
