Studio administrator
at ECE Architecture

ECE Architecture is looking for a full-time studio administrator to join its busy London office based in Southwark.

Job advert

The role requires an experienced and self-motivated studio administrator with excellent customer service, communication and IT skills. We are looking for a hardworking, personable individual to cover this diverse role.

Main responsibilities:

  • ensure the smooth running of the studio
  • PA-assistance to the directors
  • support senior staff and the wider team
  • answering the telephone
  • greeting visitors
  • assisting with recruitment and on-boarding of new starters
  • attending and supporting our internal ‘working groups’
  • coordinating with our other offices
  • managing meeting room requirements including internal CPDs
  • general admin duties such as ordering supplies, diary management, printing, binding, typing, filing and post
  • preparation of marketing material
  • preparation of submissions, fee proposals and expression of interests (PQQs & ITTs)
  • marketing database and business development research

Key requirements

Required:

  • at least five years’ experience in a relevant role, ideally in a creative environment such as architecture or design
  • previous reception/admin experience
  • confident telephone manner
  • a can-do approach to all aspects of work
  • discretion and the ability to work with confidential information
  • the ability to prioritise, set own relevant deadlines and deliver to agreed timescales
  • superb attention to detail and exceptional organisational skill
  • confident and able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision
  • excellent IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel and Outlook

Highly advantageous:

  • marketing experience
  • ability to takes notes of meetings
  • previous PA experience
  • bid writing experience
  • a good knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop
  • knowledge of the construction industry is beneficial although not essential

The successful candidate will be offered a full-time permanent contract.  Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
