Rizarch Design & Consult is hiring a junior assistant architect in Shanghai, China.
Location: Shanghai
Requirements:
- very high aesthetic standards in work
- strong attention to detail
- can express design with hand-sketches
- education: bachelor or master degree in architecture; related design work experience
- software: well-versed in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Office applications
- language: with basic English, can communicate with international designers
- priority: drivers license
Additional requirements for international candidates：
- can quickly study and adapt to understanding Chinese clients
- interest: be interested in oriental traditional elements and modern design theory
- code: quickly study and adapt to local design code
- contract: provide two years’ work experience evidence if you want a formal contract after probation (Labour Bureau Code)
Responsibility:
- communication: assist project architect to communicate design requirements, assist to make presentation to clients
- design: design sub-project or part of a project on the main concept
- work: analyse projects, make hand-sketches and PPT to show and deevelop ideas
- 3D software such as SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper and AutoCAD
- quality supervise: cooperate with other design institutes and supervise their works. Guide and supervise site construction
- detail design: research material and product information, design details
- research: collect urban and building information and research, make leading viewpoints
