Architect/architectural designer
at ACME
ACME is looking for an architect/architectural designer with construction experience to join its London team.
ACME is a London based practice operating in the fields of contemporary architecture, urban planning, interior and product design; working with private, corporate and public clients.
Main duties and responsibilities
We are looking for an exceptional and enthusiastic architect to work on two of our projects currently in construction, both in the UK. Special skills required are: principal designer role, site supervision, contract administration, project management and procurement clerk of works. The successful candidate will have proficient experience on the construction phase of residential buildings.
Skills, qualifications and experience needed
Candidates will have a minimum of five years post qualification experience and proven professional experience across all RIBA stages, excellent design and technical skills, together with knowledge of design development and tender and construction documentation. Ideal candidates will bring the right blend of confidence, patience, management skills and humour to complement a young and dynamic studio environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino and Adobe Suite is required, while good knowledge of Revit is a key advantage.
