Clients include multinational companies, British icons, architects, office and workspace interiors and luxury hotels around the world. We are an established team of dynamic professionals working in a fast-paced, stimulating environment. We are based in fabulous, architect designed, custom-built offices and production facilities, set in one of the most scenic rural locations you could imagine.

Job summary 

A key player in the design team.

A senior furniture design, development and 3D visualiser role, responsible for new product development of brand and client products, creating high quality furniture and interior visuals. Working closely with external designers, clients, our in-house production and development teams and external suppliers across Europe.

Your role will include:

  • close liaison with external designers and clients to ensure deliverance of product to brief
  • 3D visualiser for the head office design team
  • all necessary production of technical drawings and specification for product development
  • reviewing sustainable development of new product ideas
  • overseeing development of prototypes internally and externally throughout the product development process
  • research and development of materials and processes
  • developing and evolving internal NPD processes and systems
  • project managing furniture project plans to ensure on-time delivery of new products
  • producing concepts, sketches and renders for either internal or external presentation
  • producing reports and presentations as necessary
  • keeping up to date with industry developments including benchmarking market exercises
  • producing high quality 3D furniture visuals for web and client presentations
  • producing high quality, photo-realistic interior architecture scenes
  • producing internal and external presentations
  • manage all product 3D file libraries including BIM/Revit

You need experience in:

  • degree in furniture design/design
  • minimum of five years’ experience in the furniture design industry
  • excellent understanding of manufacturing process and materials
  • awareness of latest technological manufacturing and material advances
  • creative thinker and look for best use of manufacturing methods and materials in our product development strategy
  • expert in Inventor, 3D Max, AutoCAD, V- ray
  • proficient in Microsoft Office
  • ideally have experience in Vault, Rhino, SketchUp and Revit/BIM
  • strong commercial acumen
  • enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing personality
  • ability to multi-task and work under pressure in an often-fluid environment
