This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced sales assistant to join a prestigious and iconic company in our Sloane Square shop.
Our David Mellor shop in Sloane Square opened in 1969 and soon became a focal point of London shopping scene and an important influence on retail design.
The shop, on two floors, specialises in tableware and kitchenware carefully selected as the best on the international market in terms of design and quality, as well as selling our world-renowned cutlery alongside traditional British craft items. Many of our products are of our own design and exclusive to the David Mellor shops.
The company was established in the 1950s by David Mellor, Royal Designer for industry. Mellor is a key figure in British design with an international reputation as designer, manufacturer and shopkeeper.
Skills and experience required
We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic individual to join our small, friendly team as a sales assistant. The primary responsibility of these roles will be to provide customers with the very highest level of customer service and advice in a professional and friendly atmosphere.
The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, a commitment to providing quality service and demonstrated experience in retail sales. An interest in cookery, design and aesthetics is advantageous.
£9.00 per hour.
