London, UK
Interior designer
at Ben Pentreath
Ben Pentreath is seeking a highly creative mid-weight interior designer to join its busy, friendly design studio in London.
The ideal candidate will have two-three years’ experience working as an interior decorator on high-end residential design projects at all stages of FF&E from conception to completion.
Applicants will have a dependable history of detailed specification, tracking and procurement, and of developing dependable relationships with esteemed suppliers, contacts and contractors; providing a high level of client engagement and satisfaction at all times is imperative.
Excellent communication, meticulous budgeting, accounting and presentation skills, a clear understanding and good working knowledge of all MS Office programs, Vectorworks, Photoshop and EstiMac are essential. Hand drawing skills are appreciated and welcomed.
Portfolios should demonstrate solid attention to detail and a conscientious and organised approach to all areas of responsibility.
We are looking for a calm and thoughtful multi-tasker with a warm personality. The role calls for someone that will find satisfaction and enjoyment in getting things done and in working as part of a close team that provides earnest support and assistance to each other.
The studio is currently working on a variety of private residential projects in the UK, both new-build and renovation.
Interviews will be held in December or January. Candidates must be UK-based and available to start work by March 2021.
Regrettably owing to volume of applications it will only be possible to contact successful applicants for interview.
